At Seki Edge / JATAI, we DO NOT offer any tweezer sharpening policy. It is our belief that the when sharpening dull tweezers, you continue to shave off layers of metal and eventually making them useless. Tweezers will never perform like they used to. We highly recommend using "rubbing alcohol" and cleaning the inside of the tweezer edge. Cleaning the tweezer with rubbing alcohol often removes all the oils, dirt and grime caught in the grooves of the metal.
The sharpness of the tweezer often is related to the quality of the metal. When a metal dulls quickly, the metal cannot hold its hardness. Harder stainless steel will hold stay sharper longer than "cheaper" stainless steel under the same wok load. Seki Edge uses a 17-4 Precipitation Hardening also known as Type 630 is a chromium-copper precipitation hardening stainless steel used for applications requiring height strength and a moderate level of corrosion resistance. High strength is maintained to approximately 600 degrees Fahrenheit (316 degrees Celsius). Our stainless steel is produced in Japan, not in Pakistan or China like our competitor brands. Basically speaking, our stainless steel is of the highest quality and resists dulling.
If the tweezer is dropped or the tips become bent due to the fault of the customer, Seki Edge / JATAI will not be held responsible. Seki Edge / JATAI's Lifetime Guarantee only covers "manufacturer defects" or reasons responsible to the company.
